    A bit disappointing.
    The room was good. Breakfast was nice. The staff were excellent
    The room on 1st night had no heating and bathroom too cold to shower in. Only breakfast (extra) was available. Was told very late into booking that I would be confined to my room on Saturday night as a party had been booked

    Very sorry but I would not stay again.
    Location is good. Staff very helpful and good parking arrangements.
    Room was very tired but clean. Hot water in the morning was in short supply. No restaurant available for both nights as hotel had parties only thing available was crisps! I'm sure they could have arranged some sandwiches or even a pork pie! The rooms were very noisy you could hear the light switches being pulled, toilet flushing and bath filled, from rooms either side etc. All the doors shut very loudly .

    I think the owners are missing a trick. Sunday lunch perhaps? Cosy bar areas?
    Didn't stay for breakfast or dinner as we were visiting family nearby. Location in this regard was great.
    Came back from our visit and the radiator in the room was not working. Only the one in the bathroom was working. We dried our wet clothes (it was a very wet and cold night) in there. We went to the bar to have a nightcap and it took ages to find anyone. It was not a welcoming room. Just a few young men sitting around chatting and we were told to move from the other 'cocktail' bar to where they were as there was only one gentleman who was unable to work both bars. The rooms were stark and bare. He did make me a nice cup of tea though.

    Stunning setting. Very helpful staff Fantastic cooked breakfast on the Sunday Very nice room
    My only slight criticism is the cost of the continental breakfast on the Monday. At just under 10 for a couple of pieces of toast and a coffee, this is excessive especially when compared to the excellent value at just under 15 for a large and high quality full cooked breakfast on the weekend.

    We only spent one night and we were just looking for a room with comfortable beds and a shower which the hotel provided well. The location and the look of the hotel was also a positive feature. Another plus was that the hotel had a list of local taxi services to town which was great given the hotel was about 3 miles out of town.
    My only criticism which didnt affect me was that while the bathroom was designed for less able people you still needed to step into a bath to have a shower. This was not an issue for me but having a shower would have been impossible for my father. I would suggest a walk in shower.
