    Visually it was spectacular however a few little problems
    The location was stunning the staff were lovely and friendly
    There was no WiFi in my room as it wouldnt allow us to connect even after ringing for the password I was told there would be a bath in my room There wasnt Even with the heaters on the room was very cold The bed was comfy however everytime I moved it made a creak The breakfast was very basic ie cold bacon cold beans you could tell it was bought off the shelf in a cash and carry etc

    Great location with a great team... Worth a look.
    Building was beautiful, staff were very attentive and our room was clean and well presented.
    My only negatives would be the lack of hand towels, lack of a full length mirror and although the lighting is nice and low level, it was a little too low level for my partner to apply her war paint. A suggestion for your next NYE event... two hours from check-in to the event start is in no way long enough for the titivation required for such events and the beautiful meal was rather detracted from by the band still setting up and practicing within ten metres of the tables.

    We booked through booking.com on understanding it was pet friendly... Only to find when we checked in it was the main hall wasn't pet friendly it was the surrounding cottages only.... We were given another accommodation which was the estates office which was very comfortable with pool table games and cinema room but also I counted 20 dead fly's around window and door areas.... It looked like staff quarters if I'm honest.... Can't fault the staff at all they were pleasant and understanding

    Excellent reception welcome from a female member of staff, Claudia in the dining room was very efficient, couldn't do enough for us.
    Dishwasher didn't work, smoke detector hanging from the kitchen ceiling, very flimsy deputy manager who accused us of smoking in our cottage, we are non smokers so where is his evidence?
