Double-ended baths and separate showers fill each en suite bathroom in Overwater’s elegant rooms, along with fluffy bathrobes and designer toiletries. You can relax with fresh fruit and flowers, free mineral water, and free Wi-Fi access. Full English breakfasts are served each morning in the restaurant. Guests can also enjoy morning coffee and award-winning evening cuisine in a formal setting. Book dinner on a Wednesday or Sunday night in February and March and enjoy a bottle of House Wine with our compliments for every two diners (value £30). Please reserve your table prior to your arrival. Two course menu option is available mid-week if guests prefer not to take the full menu. Bassenthwaite Lake and Trotters World of Animals are both only a 5-minute drive away and scenic walks amongst the fells can be had in the lush, surrounding Lakeland. Nearby Keswick has a range of independent shops and a theatre by the lake.

Definitely would stay at this Hotel in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Overwater Hall Hotel, the ambience, the professionalism of all the staff to a very high standard. Breakfast was served, and very nice with a lot of choice from the Breakfast Menu. The Evening meal was outstanding, from the A La Carte Menu, beautifully served, I havent had food cooked and presented to that standard for many a year, excellent. The Lake District does not have a great reception for Wi-Fi and mobile phones, the Hotel has wi-fi but be aware you dont always get a signal, thats good if you want to relax from todays technology. We took our dog, and they were very accommodating, he loved the walks in the grounds.
