I loved the professionalism of every single member of staff! The reception staff were outstanding. The breakfast was outstanding as were the breakfast staff. The dining staff were outstanding and catered to my special requests on more than one occasion. The bathroom and toilet facilities were exceptionally clean. The pool and spa facilities were outstanding as were the staff. The Hotel is in a perfect location. I have already recommended this hotel to friends and will continue to do so. Thank you for having us.

Disappointing

Location was great, quick walk down to the water front and a lovely scooter ride into city centre. Indoor swimming pool was beautiful. Despite proximity to train line I didn't hear any noise from trains.

Breakfast was poor. Food didn't seem to be replaced throughout the breakfast period, so porridge and beans were extremely dried out depending on when you arrived. The hotel team also did nothing to stop people from being too noisy in the spa which was very disruptive for the rest of us and there were definitely teenagers in there at times when it specifically said no under 18s. Sauna was broken for our entire week stay with no advance warning or apologies - when you've specifically booked a spa hotel for a reason a sauna is a big factor in that so an apology or even a slight discount wouldn't have gone amiss.

Palacio do Governador is a good stay in Lisbon.

Palacio do Governador is a nice hotel very close to some major attractions of Lisbon. Our room was nice, but A/C did not work well and fridge did not work at all. They changed it, but still did not work. Unfortunately the staff working there were a little too much, thinking everything here is great. We liked their underground parking and the breakfast was pretty amazing with everything you could desire from champagne, mimosas and even a Chef to do your special omellettes. A little more welcoming staff and checking their rooms wouold make this place at least a 9.

Amazing hotel and staff!

The staff was very friendly and helpful! Hugo at the front desk went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The decoration, lighting, and breakfast were well above average! It is within walking distance to Belem Tower and Jeronimos Monastery.

Great value, great location, friendly and welcoming.

Reception was very friendly and helpful. Property was immaculate and the location was very convenient to walks, cafes, venues of interest, transportation and some of the local sights.

The hotel was laser focused on the 3pm check-in time which while stated in advance and understandable to us, as our transportation arrived in Barcelona at around 8:30AM, I was hoping that the staff would have checked for a room with an early departure and given us an idea when it might be available, but they simple repeated their check-in time policy. There is no question they could have been more helpful had they been willing, but they did store our bags for us and we did set out, albeit with a little wrinkled and tired. This is less a complaint than a suggestion. Very little effort in this matter would have been greatly appreciated.
