    Pear Tree House is a quaint, family-run bed and breakfast in the beautiful market town of Pickering. The property offers free WiFi, free off-street parking, bike storage and a drying room. All rooms (Read More) at Pear Tree House have their own bathroom. Each beautifully appointed room has a flat-screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities. There is a tranquil shared sitting room, and guests are welcome to bring their own drinks to the property. A home-cooked, hearty Yorkshire breakfast is served daily and consists of cooked items, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit and juices. Guests are welcomed with tea and homemade cakes on their arrival. The North Yorkshire Moors National Park is practically on the property’s doorstep, whilst the seaside town of Scarborough is 18 miles away. Eden Camp and Ryedale Folk Museum offer a fascinating insight in to the area’s history, and are both within a 15-minute drive of Pear Tree House.

    Ideal break away!
    The location was ideal for my visit to friends living in Pickering. Sarah & Chris were very welcoming & attentive. The breakfast was good quality & the quantity set me up for the day!
    Maybe a handrail to help get in & out of the bath / shower

    We had a lovely couple of days. With plenty to see and do within the area.
    The location was near the centre. The breakfast was very good, with plenty of choice. The hosts were lovely and had good knowledge of the area. We would definitely stay there again.

    Welcoming, warm and cosy.
    Warm and cosy, lovely double room, gorgeous view of the garden. Just a few minutes walk from central Pickering. Lovely welcome from the staff & gorgeous breakfast.
    Loved the property, would visit again.

    Our second stay and absolutely love it here friendly, warm welcome and thoroughly recommended the room was warm comfortable spotless and well appointed, breakfast was wonderful nothing too much trouble. A great location 5 minutes stroll into Pickering. We look forward to returning in the new year

    Relaxing, convenient and fabulous bed and breakfast, so I will come again
    Excellent welcome, very quiet even though the house is on the main street. Very comfortable room with a personal bathroom. Breakfast was first class - wide choice, good food and as much as I needed.
