    Diamond in the rough
    We got the twin room- 501, which had a lot of room, and a fabulous balcony facing the party beach, Loh Dalum. Loved seeing the New Years fireworks from here. Top floor could be challenging with all the stairs but we like the exercise. Breakfast was actually good and were not fans of buffets, but the little lady cooking eggs knows how her stuff. I'd definitely recommend this hotel, it's diamond in the rough. Otherwise I would suggest Long Beach if you need quiet and to be right on the beach.

    Practical and convenient location. Thats about it.
    Location and air conditioner.
    The hotel is EXTREMELY dated, its noisy, and there is NO ELEVATOR. I stayed in the 4th floor with a bad knee. I asked for an extra half hour to check out, even offered to pay extra due to a boat tour, and I practically had to BEG. The girls at the front desk are NOT courteous.

    Great location in Phi Phi
    The property is a 2 min walk from the pier and has a nice view. The hotel is right beside loads of nice restaurants and shops. Its easy to nip back to the hotel if you forgot something or want to chill out for a while.
    The stairs and the AC doesnt stay on once you leave so it takes the room a while to cool down. We had a door in our room to the next apartment and you could hear everything in that apartment.
