    Amazing service, staff and room-Perfecto!
    Wow! An amazing town and an equally amazing stay at this five star hotel. The staff was great, breakfasts awesome (and man who waited on us was a class act like from a Downton Abbey scene) and room (including view) much bigger & better than expected. The location meant a lot of uphill walking, but that's part of its charm. We have already told a number of people about this wonderful place.
    The closest I can come up with a negative is that the great shower they had never seemed to get the sprays to work (some type of spray that scented the shower). Personally, we just laughed about it.

    Loved Matera.
    The location was great with a beautiful view of the caves. The rooms were spotlessly clean. Its was fun the sleep in a cave.
    We ended up paying quite a bit more for an upgrade since the room we booked, was less appealing than the one my daughter had, plus we wanted to be adjacent to her room.

    The property was amazing. Its setting and the experience of living in a cave hotel is something I will never forget. Beautifully presented and spotless with bathroom and bedroom on separate levels. Luxurious bathroom with the biggest shower I have ever seen. You can also select from a range of essences which are then added to the shower steam. All the staff, especially Christian were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful, recommended the most wonderful restaurant for dinner, La Lopa.

    If you come to Matera you have to stay in a cave. If you're gonna stay in a cave then splash out and stay in a luxury cave. I don't normally splash out but I feel this accommodation absolutely delivered an exceptional experience - go on you know you're worth it!
    It was all exceptional - including excellent staff and breakfast. By the way - don't know why there is a sad face with this review I literally couldn't have been happier - and I'm not a happy person.

    The property is located right in the middle of everything you want to see! Walk out your door, take a few steps, and youre on the threshold of where youre going, whether its sightseeing, hiking the gorge or getting a bite to eat. Its perfectly located! Staff was also very friendly, dedicated to keeping the place spotless, and ready to help with our every need. It was a true highlight of our 10 day Puglia trip!
    The property is beautifully kept. Its spotless! Nothing to dislike.

    Cant decide if the hotel design, scent, location or the service was more exceptional It is a unique hotel, worth every effort to stay there. Their service is top notch. We had two bedrooms (4 adults) and everyone was so pampered and we felt relaxed, happy, woke up in beautiful bedding and ambience. Did I mention the scent of their rooms?? Fantastic stay, we will happily always go back!
