The rooms feature a flat-screen TV, mini bar, iPod docking station, and tea and coffee making facilities.     A lovely long weekend at the start of December
    A lovely B&B with lots of period features. Friendly and welcoming hosts. Nicely situated for access around Snowdonia and surrounding areas. Great breakfast, with a good selection of different dishes. Room was comfortable and well appointed, with en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. Tea and coffee making facility with kettle, and a pack of Welsh cakes to enjoy with a brew. Car parking was available on site. Property is positioned in walking distance of the centre of Dolgellau, with pubs and restaurants nearby - the woodfired pizza at the Stag and the selection of food at the Torrent are recommended - braised Bala beef at the Torrent well worth a try!

    Jan and his wife were extremely welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. They were very knowledgeable about the local area. The bullilding and the room were immaculate and stunning. Excellent location.

    I'd go there again, and I'd recommend it to anyone going to Dolgellau
    Lovely people, good sized comfy room and bed - with an electric blanket on when we arrived so it was lovely and warm. Beautiful old property, great breakfast, and a fridge in the room with a jug of real milk! and welsh cakes rather than biscuits - excellent! I have a lot of milk in my tea, so normally have to open 6 or so little sachets of UHT milk, which I don't like, using all the milk on my first cuppa on arrival. So a good size jug of real milk - and top ups for the asking is sheer luxury!

    Loved every minute of our Cymru visit. And we will definitely come back.
    Lovely cottage, clean and great location.
    The mattresses are quite worn out and they have a dip in the middle so not that comfortable. I suggest a change in mattresses for a more comfortable stay. Our stay was short so it was not a deal breaker.

    It was very nice and quiet. We were provided with, bread butter, coffee, jam, Welsh cakes. Everything we needed. There were lots of pamphlets to look at and plan our walks. Very dog friendly.

    Brilliant B&B
    Plas Gwyn is located in a quiet spot in the centre of Dolgellau, a two minute walk from the main square, and with good pubs, restaurants, and cafs close by. Full of Georgian charm, furnished with antiques, and with a lovely secluded garden, Plas Gwyn was an ideal place to relax after a day exploring Dolgellau's stunning surroundings. My room was large with a very comfy bed, a wonderful shower en suite, a range of teas and coffees, fresh milk in the fridge, Welsh Cakes, and good free WiFi. Jan and Julie were terrific hosts. Their breakfasts were top notch, with local sausages, bacon, yoghurt, etc. Finally, Plas Gwyn's guest car park is a welcome bonus, as the quaint and narrow streets of central Dolgellau offer very few free car parking spaces.
