    Loved staying stay in the cottage and I had a wonderful few days exploring the area.
    Location was excellent....just a couple of minutes from High Street. Lots to see and do in the local area and beyond.
    The treads on the stairs were narrow so I had to be careful how I came down them. But it's an old cottage so it's part of the character but for anyone older or with less mobility, it might be an issue.

    A fabulous cosy retreat
    Lovely quaint cosy cottage. Amazingly well kitted out kitchen and toasty log burner. Absolutely fantastic location as well: easy access to a range of shops, pubs and restaurants. No issues with parking either; always space close by- was a very enjoyable and relaxing few days.

    Perfect for our lovely three day break.
    Nice welcome note and bottle of wine, etc. My special request to remove feathers was handled without any fuss. Everything you wanted for two was provided. The town was small (that's good) and welcoming. Decent pint and food at The Talbot. Walks available from the town into the countryside.
    All good for us.

    I was self catering so yes my breakfast was great as I cooked it myself.
    The general cleanliness of the property. It didn't look as if the place had been hoovered as I found dirt on the carpet. I opened the oven and found a dirty roasting tray in it and some of the utensils in the draws were dirty and I had to clean them before I could use them. I have stayed in Queen's Cottage several times and everything has been perfect in the past.

    Perfect little cottage.
    The cottage was very clean and wonderfully comfortable, especially the bed! Lovely kitchen and a dear little space outside. It is in such a great location, very quiet but right in the town, and parking wasn't a problem. We found some excellent local walks on the town's website, this little town has everything!

    No reading lamp in sitting room. This would have made it perfect!
