Disappointing and poor value for money

The location was excellent. The reception area was well appointed. The breakfast terrace had great views of Vesuvius.

Wifi was not included! I can't remember the last hotel I stayed in where I had to pay for wifi. This was shocking and unreasonable in this day and age. Very expensive for what it was. I was advised that I had been upgraded but the room needed a refurb - very dated; my safe did not work. They did kindly replace it and fix the dripping tap in the bathroom but Naples is not an expensive city and for 500 per night I would have expected better. Reception staff appeared bored and indifferent, as opposed to the porters and domestic staff who were very helpful. Service at breakfast was very slow. Invariably I had finished eating breakfast before my coffee arrived.

Fantastic stay in a lovely hotel

Great hotel, well located and very well presented, breakfast was very good, great selection, and the rooftop setting fantastic, room very comfortable and quiet and all the facilities are great, staff were very helpful. Solarium on the roof was a good bonus

Only small issue was the shower head was not working well and water went everywhere Solarium could do with a bit more shade option - brollies?
