If you travel light this might suit you

The place is situated in a very high place great view. Reasonable rooms. You have to consider whether you can carry your luggage 4 floors with no elevator an no help from the hosts. Other than that they were very nice.

It was very difficult to get there after dark due to the road conditions. No elevator, and you have to carry your luggage 70 stairs up by yourself. When asked the hotel staff offered no help but the advice that we can leave some of our luggage in the car because it is safe

Superb

Great stay!

Wonderful views from the terrace. Very friendly staff, some language barrier, however, it only added charm to the stay. Breakfast was super good!! We had only a night stay, but were very pleased with everything.

Road leading to the hotel is a bit challenging, it is not a minus but be prepared for some fun Only one 0.5 point deduction for the beds, they were a bit too soft for our liking, but if you stay for a short time, it shouldn't bother you a lot.

Superb

The staff was so amazing and lovely! As we understood it is a family house. This was the first place where we stayed in Italy and oh boy! The view is breathtaking! This place is near Bellagio and it was a perfect spot if you want peace, quiet and enjoy the nature. The hotel is surrounded by three little chapels, which during specific time play a lovely music. I could not recomment this place enough! If we decide to visit lake como again, I would love to spend time in this hotel again!

These are a few things which were deffinitelly not the fault of the hotel. We booked a room with an external bathroom. So for comfort, next time I would book a room with a bathroom in the same room. Also, I personally am a light sleeper. All of the hotel guests were quiet and respectful, but there was this one family with two young children who were constrantly screaming. I know it might be harsh to travel with children, but the main problem was that the parents were completely not interested in trying to calm them down. Once again both of these points were completely not the hotels fault, and I wouls deffinitelly love to come back here again!
