Poor

Despite not sleeping due to noise, Baden Baden was awesome.

The hotel is beautiful and clean. The breakfast is amazing. The location is good but a bit far from the downtown. Overall very good.

We were in a room on the first floor and we were kept up until 3 in the morning by the thumping bass from DJ night at the hotel bar. The room was vibrating. There were no other rooms available to move to. The staff was professional and provided us a discount. Unless you love techno music stay away from the first floor rooms on DJ night.

Very bad payment policy

Design of the hotel was good

As everybody mentioned in their previous comments, the payment process that you follow is outrages. We stayed 1 night. Already paid it in advance. Then you reserved some money, 100 euro, upon arrival. That is also fine. Then we wanted to pay our extras at check out. It was around 350euro. Normally you should realize the 100euro, and take an additional 250 euro. But what you did is: reserved another 250 euro (!) and then took 350 euro. If you are going to take the 350euro straight away, why in the earth do you reserve another 250euro. This spoils all the good things about the hotel. I travelled all the world and never seen this nonsense policy. Do not stay if you dont like these type of thngs.

We liked the hotel but due to non-professional, unfriendly staff we will not go there again.

Hotel is chic and stylish, the room was nice and clean. The breakfast was very good. At check-in and out we were asked if we would like to drink something.

The staff was not very friendly. The waiter in the restaurant took away the wine glasses without asking if we would like to drink some wine. When we tried to order he went away before we were finished.

Disappointing

Good impression at the arrival but disappointing at check-out.

Rooms are good. Good restaurant.

They made authorization of my card at check-in for the amount of room plus deposit. However, at check-out they took money again as a new transaction, rather than from pre-authorised amount as usually hotels do. As a result - I have double payment: one is completed and one is on-hold which lasts for more that 1 month now. I have to spend my time now for communication with bank in order to release the amount on hold. Also tried to send email to the hotel but they simply ignore my mails.
