Just over a mile from the centre of beautiful Edinburgh, The Rosehall is a small private hotel on the A7, close to Holyrood Park and the stunning Arthur’s Seat. The Royal Mile is about 25-minutes’ wa (Read More)lk away, and the hotel is 1 mile from Princes Street and on the main bus route to Edinburgh city centre. There is free WiFi access throughout the property. The Rosehall has traditionally furnished rooms with an en suite or private external bathroom. Each also benefits from a flat-screen TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Edinburgh’s Waverly Rail Station and the popular shops of Prince’s Street can be reached in about 30 minutes on foot. Edinburgh Castle is also within walking distance. Please note that the hotel does not have a lift.

I had trouble adjusting the shower temperature but its probably user error. In the end it was all fine

Comfy, no-frills accommodation.

Good location, nice big room. Clean and tidy, pleasant decor.

No sign of any staff for the whole of our stay - very odd. No idea how we would have raised any issues. Bathroom lock broken, shower leaked a lot. Boiler for the building seemed to be located in our room and was a noisy nuisance when trying to get kids to sleep. Wasnt at all clear at time of booking that breakfast was not included.

Good

Generally okey, but I would not return.

Localisation was quite convenient- you can easily go to the centre.

Didnt like the bathroom- it was really difficult to get properly warm water for bath ( it was either lava hot, or cold).

Location was good as bus stop was right outside and the bus was regular, so would be in the centre within 15 mins. Staff were friendly.

Room wasnt clean, cigarettes left under the bed and dust everywhere, especially on lights above the bed so the bed was dusty. Also shower quite temperamental turning hot and cold.

Absolutely beautiful, Jennifer went out of her way to make us comfortable. I would definitely recommend. Rooms were clean and comfortable brilliant little get away.

Very good

Price quality ratio is good.

The location was excellent for us, as we had to socialise with friends who were staying at The Scholar, nearby.

The room was chilly when we arrived. After six o'clock the central heating kicked in, and from then onwards it was cozy and warm in the room. Also, I would have preferred a double bed.
