Superb

We loved our stay there!

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Appreciated the water bottles delivered when municipal water supply was interrupted. Beautiful gardens, very peaceful and quiet, great location.

Very good

Our stay was over the moon.

The receptionist (Corne) was extremely helpful and friendly. The place is just really beautiful and breakfast was lovely.

The pool could have been clearer.

Disappointing

Nice modern look and feel

Upon arrival (after a long drive from Jhb) we contacted the premises to find out whether we could book in however were told no sorry we need to come back later. We also couldn't shower or even make coffee the next morning after our 1st night sleepover. I sent a whatsapp message to notify the staff of the no water issue and only received a response approximately 1.5 hours later stating that they contacted the municipality and were waiting for feedback. We decided to pack up and go and just before leaving one of the staff arrived with 2 lt water bottles in order to make coffee or tea and wash up a bit. We were then offered a free coffee and breakfast to make up for the inconvenience. It was polite and kind of the owner however the no water issue was really uncomfortable and definitely an indication of not visiting them again. Will not recommend this after a very long drive though..
