    Altogether we went we enjoyed we came away happy
    Location great when the sun shines but pub nice to laze around in. Undergoing improvements outside which will be good for this old coaching pub
    Just check inc breakfast or not.7 for continental or 12 inc cooked. Charged my ma 7 even though she just had a round of toast and tea.!!

    Great hotel with a great location for doing spme walks, we stayed for the new year weekend, we had some lovely meals and the party was a great bonus, thanks for a lovely time, we will be back

    Ideal stopover in the Cotswolds
    Very friendly service. Lovely bar/ restaurant atmosphere. Room not too bad.
    Portion of food not great. We both had the lamb shank with mash and veg. There was a slither of a carrot which was supposed to be the veg Portion.

    Last minute availability was great.
    Low-key, basic, very cheap and mediocre mish-match room decor. Slightly tired in all areas, looks like it is about to get a renovation - or perhaps the roof is being repaired. I booked last minute and was glad to get a room near to Gloucester - thank you. Not really my cup of tea but if youre on a budget GO FOR IT.
