Superb

Excellent new hotel rooms, safe area with local restaurants, professional receptionists

I was traveling around middle east for two weeks and this hotel was my perfect stay. First, the receptionist are professional and kind. They made me feel welcomed, always smiling and willing to solve any issue or complaint I had. Second, the hotel room was very nice, clean, good smell, nice temperature. I had a good night sleep. Did not try the breakfast. The coffee in the inside cafeteria was delicious, would highly recommend the cappuccino with caramel flavor. The area where the hotel is booked is a bit distant from main attractions but very safe at night, with a lot of local shops and restaurants. Close by there is also a new mosque that is totally worth visiting. I would book this hotel again for sure if I visit Oman. Great value for the price, good location, very kind personal - I had an amazing stay. Thank you.

Disappointed with Mr Amir from front office behavior. He was openly threatening the food and beverage staff for a mistak

Everything other than Mr Amir behavior

Mr Amir from front desk needs training in hospitality, on how to behave with colleagues in front of guests. His tone and body language was extremely threatening. I have been a regular from the opening of the hotel. Never had such a bad experience. On requesting for the general manager phone number and guest comment card he refused saying he does not have them.

Superb

Affordable and comfortable place to stay in Muscat.

For the price, this is a great hotel. This was our cheapest stay in Oman and you can definitely find hotels double or even tripe the price that are worse. A new hotel which opened about two years ago so the design is quite modern. The room was carpeted which was a nice touch and the bathroom was the best on our trip (shower was fantastic!). They have an extensive menu for room service which looked good but we didnt try. Breakfast was 3 and a half rials each and they had a very good selection. Service was great aswell - very helpful with all the mini requests we had. The parking lot wasnt 4 by 4 friendly but they have a large parking lot outside the hotel so we just parked there. The Wi-Fi was probably the worst thing about the hotel - was in and out the whole time (in our room) but we made do. The place was about 10-15 minutes drive away from Sultan Qaboos mosque and although it was our last night, seemed like a good base to explore muscat. They had a few restaurants and dessert places on the same road which was great (the Afghan restaurant was very tasty but huge portion sizes so order sensibly!). All in all, bar the Wi-Fi this is actually a great hotel made even better by the price. Would definitely consider staying here again if we visited muscat again.
