    Highly recommend the Rusacks.
    We had dinner at the "18" and it was the best meal we have experienced in Scotland. The Dover Sole was perfectly cooked and the red cabbage and the potatoes were also delicious. The Deserts had to be shared....so very scrumptious.
    The Scottish weather did not cooperate as it was foggy and misting on our day to enjoy St. Andrews.

    Second time here and always a pleasure, fantastic staff, wonderful food, perfect location it is a Scottish dream to be at this hotel and the BEST martini at the bar upstairs

    Staff friendly, location perfect, we stayed in the old bit of the hotel , decor a bit dark
    Location ,size of the room ,size of the bed .
    Shower pressure and temperature, shower was cold ,bed mattress and pillows were to soft ,had to stand up to get a view of the course and sands .

    Breakfast menu could do with updating - a la carte when a full or continental breakfast option and available via room service would assist with a very busy breakfast service

    Everything we moved from the old course as Rusacks has more charm and the food was better
    Only that the heating takes a bit to activate in the bedrooms

    Lovely, relaxing stay .
    Breakfast was excellent- though my husband would have liked baked beans with his! 2nd morning service was very slow and ran out of white bread for toast!? Staff were apologetic and attentive- might have been a kitchen issue?
