Disappointing

Location was good for getting to the aiport in the morning, and the food tasted good.

It advertises itself as "the ultimate luxury retreat" and as a 5 star. It definitely isn't. It would be ok if it was advertised as a mid-range hotel, but: - The room smelled of cigarette smoke - The floor was dirty (had to clean my feet before getting in bed because of the grime) - They played loud music in the bar near my room all evening, until I phoned to ask them to turn it down. I shouldn't have to ask though - this is a hotel, not a bar/club. People want to rest, especially if they are coming from or to the aiport. - Overcharging for a 3-minute ride to the airport - Gym was closed in the afternoon - Pool looked a bit grotty - Unfriendly service at checkin Having stayed at a 5-star in Chennai for a similar price, this was no where near that quality.
