Overpriced for quality of service and amenities

Our room was really spacious with a nice view from the balcony. Shower pressure was good. The turtles in the sea are really big and its great to swim with them.

You dont get coffee included in the breakfast, only powder coffee (not even instant) - it is available to buy.. This is really disappointing and I havent seen this anywhere else in Sri Lanka. Id say this is fine to stay for one or two nights (to take advantage of the turtle beach), but not suitable for longer. It also is really overpriced and the photos are very flattering vs what you find. The beach/sun lounger area is quite dirty and small, with old chairs very very close together, so not suitable for relaxing all week. Unawatuna town (where the restaurants are) is about 2km by tuktuk (you couldnt really walk as is a busy main road). Food options near the hotel/in the hotel are very limited. The room was nice but wasnt cleaned despite request. Again, not the end of the world, but it isnt the cheapest hotel so a bit frustrating. We ended up moving to another hotel at the same price point and found it much better.

Sea views with friendly giant Turtles and a nice hotel.

I like the location, views from the balcony, the spacious room with the friendly staff and the food. Very closer to the beach and mainly I loved I had the opportunity to spend the time with friendly turtles coming to the shore and feeding them.

I couldn't find any faults.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Sayura Hotel, and I must say that it was a delightful

quiet location with a shaded beach area. The room I stayed in was quite spacious, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. There was ample room to move around, which I found to be a great plus, and a variety of chair options to choose from for relaxation. The only minor issue was that one of the IKEA chairs in the room was broken, but it didn't significantly impact my stay. The bedroom had two air conditioning units, and while the first one had a tendency to shut off unexpectedly, the staff was quick to respond and promptly switched the electrical over to the second unit. Once the AC was working correctly, the room became wonderfully comfortable, making my stay quite pleasant. The bathroom was another highlight, with a good shower and excellent water pressure. It's always a relief to have a reliable and refreshing shower during your travels. The hotel's location was quite convenient, being just a short distance from the Turtle Bay Area. I particularly appreciated the proximity of good pizza and Persian restaurants in the area, providing diverse dining options. If you're looking to explore the surroundings, I recommend taking the bus into Unawatuna instead of haggling over the overpriced tuk-tuks, which can save you some money and hassle.

wifi was poor in the rooms and we had connection issues. In terms of dining, the breakfast at Sayura Hotel was a bit different from the traditional buffet setup, but it still offered a variety of choices. Some guests mentioned it as an English breakfast, but I wouldn't exactly call it that since it lacked beans, potatoes, and the sausages were more like cheap hotdogs. Nonetheless, there were plenty of other options to choose from, and it was a decent start to the day.

they asked me to pay extra money for water and berr that was inside the fridge in my room. Never had to pay for those in worldwide hotels. And the breakfast really tasted like everything was outdated.

All of us as a family enjoyed and fun staying in hotel, staffe is super nice, food was OK but need to improve unless it's superb location and scenery thanks for the hotel will hope to come back soon
