    It was very quiet and sitting by the lake was nice.
    The front door of the building was always locked over night so in the mornings I could not get out and had to wait for someone to open up. Communication was very difficult due to language barrier.

    Room was comfy and clean. We had a very good stay at this hotel. Location is perfect for a calm and relaxing stay. Staff was very nice. We had a personal kitchen attached to the room with a full size Refrigerator cutlery and dining table.

    Wow! What an amazing stay. The family went out of their way to ensure we had a memorable time. The hotel and surroundings are spotless. A beautiful room with cold AC and hot water! The kayak safari is relaxing and a must. Thank you for having us Shaun and Rob, UK.

    Very quiet and nice place. Located right on the bank of the river. You can go kayaking. The hosts are very hospitable. The room is clean, comfortable bed, air conditioning works well. Very tasty Sri Lankan breakfast. Would definitely recommend staying here.

    The place was beautiful and peaceful. The room was clean and very well equipped. The personnel Nishanthi and her family (mother and her husband) were so warm and friendly. The first day at check in Nishanthi offered a fresh juice made of passion fruits from her garden. She recommended us to go kayaking which we did, it was beautiful we saw many varans, bats, birds, and beautiful nature. At check out her husband cut a fresh coconut for us and took us for free to the train station. We highly recommend this place. everything was great.
    Its a bit far from town but we dont mind walking to visit, other people can get tuk-tuk rides. Nishanthi also offers scooter rentals if some people are interested which can make it easy. We didnt have hot water during our stay but it didnt bother us.
