Passable

Except for the smell, the room was good. The south was professional. I wish I could give it a higher score.

Location, location location

The room smelled like poop when we first came in. We aired it out and went out and when we came back, it still smelled bad. Not really bad but kind of bad around the bathroom.

My room, which was the cheapest, was pretty small . I will upgrade to a more $$$ room if I go again.

Location is great, right on the beach. Staff was friendly and went out of their way to recommend restaurants. They also gave me the option of whether I wanted my room cleaned everyday or not. Afternoon free wine and cheese was very fun and gave me a chance to meet other guests.

Breakfast provided was very disappointing, It's from 7:30 to 10:00 am. Yesterday I went at 8:45 and they were out of bananas, hard boiled eggs and yogurt. They didn't have any cereal or milk. They did have bagels and a couple flavors of cream cheese, I'm not a bagel person so i skipped that, coffee was good, as were the muffins. There was no coffee maker in my room, although a couple of guests said they had one. Today I went at 7:45 (early bird) and there was one other person there, 3 hard boiled eggs were out and again no bananas, 5 yogurts. I hope they refilled stuff, but decided to stick with the coffee. Very skimpy., especially compared to other places I've been.

Spectacular views, from room and property over looking the Santa Cruz bay. Enjoyed breakfast on the grounds over looking

Awesome view and location. love the grounds and well kept. Chocolate chip muffins were 10/10.

The bed was ok 7/10 and bathroom seemed dated,

Wowsers!

We had the cottage with the hot tub on the cliff. Wow! Nothing like it. Highly recommended if the price tag doesn't hurt, which it did ha, but I'm not rich.

Breakfast is not much at all, but who cares. Go to a cafe or a restaurant.

The best panorama in town, from the Boardwalk to the Wharf to the surfers off Steamer Lane

Amazing views from this cliffside property. The rooms are modest, but everything is perfectly maintained and cleaned. And again... there is no better location in all of Santa Cruz.

we found bed bug eggs and the lady switched us rooms and acted like it never happened before and then I look at review and they have had bed bug problems with visitors since July 2022 thats almost a year she switched us rooms and then that was that no apologies or checking in on us. for the price I was paying I just thought that was absolutely horrible. staying at the dream inn next time
