Great location - slighty dated Hotel

Location cant be beat - its right on the ocean. you can dive from the rocks into the sea. Its close to lots of resturants and shops - easy walking distance. The lobby and common areas were newly updated and really nice. The staff were top notch, friendly and polite and accomadating. The view from our balcony was amazing - as are all the views from this hotel. The main part of our room was newly updated and was very nice. Breakfast was really good, lots of choice to suit everyones preference. two pools. they hosted games and other activities each day. We both got a massage with was lovely and the staff in the spa were great. The soa was also very nice. Gym is handy - small but has what you need to get a quick workout in. The rooftop bar has great views.

Over all the hotel is a little dated. Our bathroom and air con both were old and out of date. We had some issues with air con and shower - they were fixed quickly but overall feel of hotel is a little dated in places. The pools were nice but on a couple of mornings they were being cleaned at 10/11 am when people wanted to swim. this should be done before guests arrive to lay out. The pool staff were shouting at guests to get out of the pool on those days which was a little embarrasing. Nothing to do with the hotel but the bars, resteraunts etc near by are very averge - and thats putting it nicely. Some of the SPA equipment was out of other and seemed to have been that way for a while. Also for some reaon you cant change pool towels when you want - despite ours getting wet because of a rain shower the pool attendant refused to change them

Superb

Breakfast buffet was excellent. Rooms and services very good. Outside pool,bar and blue bar at the evenings was lovely. .

Like the spa but was a bit disappointed about buttons of few massage equipment was broken, the pool was not the cleanest, and the paint around it was comming off. Last year at ours stay leasure area looked perfect, but not this year.
