The family-run Alpine-style Kirchbühl@home provides studios and apartments in a quiet location of Grindelwald, just above the town´s church and 1 km from the cable car. It offers panoramic views of t (Read More)he surrounding mountains and free WiFi. Guests can take advantage of the wellness area at the Kirchbühl Hotel, comprising a sauna, a steam bath and a hot tub. Free parking spaces are available on site. Dinner can be enjoyed at the hotel's La Marmite restaurant, the Hilty-Stibli and the Eiger-Stube, serving international cuisine as well as Bernese Oberland specialities. Nice view, friendly staff, expensive for the value

Love the breakfast, simple but fresh and delicious. Fresh butter, freshly baked bread, fresh juice All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The driver who showed us our apartment was very nice and friendly too. Clean and spacious apartment Apartment has nice view of the glacier and cable car just from the balcony.

We didnt know that this apartment is so far away from the main hotel where we will have breakfast and spa. Check the distance of apartment vs the hotel if you are looking for the amenities from the hotel The plug for raclette was missing, no wood for the fire. Extra 20 ChF per package of would after the first free bag. All fixed after 1/2 day and a few phone calls Spa close at 19.00 which is too early.

Living space is good and spacious, but transportation and delay is a frustration , affecting the overall experience

Spacious , good equipped kitchen , good view though not much difference from downtown

A bit far from station and its quite uphill . Bus hugely delay , sometimes every skip one which hugely affect scheduling and planning , hotel forget about the check out pick up service , overall causing huge frustration because of transportation issue, not advisable to stay if there is tight schedule . Since we have to caught weather window for different activities.

We really enjoyed our stay in the apartment. It was spacious and had a fantastic mountain view.

The location was excellent with a wonderful view out over the mountains. We also enjoyed the buffet breakfast at the hotel in the morning - a very good selection.

Amazing stay in Grindlewald

Great property . Great breakfast amazing view of the mountains

Not really a negative but it is up a hill about 17 minutes walk away from the train station. After a long day of hiking all day it was sometimes a bother to get back to the room. But it was much more secluded than the other grindlewald hotels so much quieter than being right in the main shopping area.
