    Perfect location in the middle of the Lakes.
    Perfect location for Helvellyn. Room was warm and quiet. Very cosy. Breakfast was perfect with plenty of options. The cooked option was delicious and good quality. Staff very friendly

    Lovely old hotel with character. Friendly staff and a good breakfast.
    Friendly and helpful staff, good pub food and breakfast and clean and comfy room.
    Quite noisy when other guests are moving around in other rooms.

    breakfast good choice well cooked nice room bedroom 20 warm comfortable and spotlessly clean remembering I had not stayed there before dinner arrived but i had no utensils or condiments quirky
    why should a d,b.b. get a preferred dinner table than a b.b. guest
