From my arrival until I left the whole experience was terrible. Would not stay again. Would not recommend. After arriving close to midnight exhausted and tired my elderly mother and I had to stand there for what seemed like 15 min while the front desk person tried to find something to create our room keys. Eventually she said she would use the housekeeping keys to let us in the room and would bring our keys later. The next day when showering the shower drain was clogged and water filled up to our ankles. We went downstairs to notify the hotel. I tried on several occasions to find someone at front desk, but no one was there. Then we went for complimentary breakfast which was awful. Eggs were cold. When we came back to the hotel at 10pm I finally found someone at front desk to tell her about the clogged shower. She did suggest changing bc rooms; however it was late and I would have had to pack up and move luggages when I was too tired for all that. I just wanted them to know about the clogged shower. During the night, it became hot. I lowered temperature and went back to bed. Woke up the next day to a hot room. So, I called front desk to tell them. The manager named Julst, came up and started telling me I had the thermostat in wrong setting and asked me several times why I didnt call sooner. I told her that I called as soon as I realized the AC wasnt working. But she continued to be unnecessarily rude saying I had settings wrong and should have called them right away. Then she proceeded to say that because I booked room through a 3rd party and I was checking out that day there was nothing she could do except we can check out later. I said to her Im not asking for you to do anything, Im only telling you the AC isnt working. Finally someone brought a fan. I felt the manager Julst was rude to me for no reason. She kept making me feel that I was the cause of the AC not working. I would never stay there again. I have family in Tampa and come to area often.
