Nice Hotel, Central location

Great hotel in a central location just a few minutes walk from Circular Quay. The Concierge and desk staff were exceptional, helpful, knowledgeable and very professional. The rooms were comfortable, very clean, air conditioned with a small fridge and bar, TV and good lighting. The bed was comfortable and the linen very good quality. Breakfast was very comprehensive, a good choice, buffet with the option to order bespoke dishes if required. No problems even when crowded.

We didn't use the restaurant or bar, as usual for Hotels the prices were 30% above average for the area and when you are a short walk from a huge choice they didn't stand a chance. Almost none of the staff had English as a first language which did mean a couple of orders at breakfast were misunderstood.

I would not recommend here to my friends and will not stay here again.

Location, room furniture are good. Most of the staff was friendly.

Too slow in relying to emails. The receptionist didn't take us the Sofitel Club when we checked in even though we were staying in a King Suite. There was a Confusing directions at check-in. (As for upgrading. Day 1, I was said I granted it. Day 2, I was said not granted. Is there a room above the King Suite ? I would say you cause this kind of confusion by sending an invitation email even though I have been booking that room from the beginning.) 5th floor courtyard is not very clean. Sofitel Club receptionist often talking on the backside and I have to go find him when I need talk. Not clear the place of QR code to see room dining menu. When I asked for concierge in the lobby, there were two of them, but I had to wait a while for them to finish talking to me even though they were aware of me. A staff came my room and gave me cards without any explanation. So I ended up having to go to the lobby to ask how to use them.

A satisfactory hotel

I was quite impressed by the kindness of the staff and the condition of the facilities and hotels was excellent. I am willing to visit again next time.

It is regrettable that they did not actively respond to the request separately.
