    Loved our stay here.
    The staff were friendly, and always smiling. Great knowledge of the area and were happy to help out with anything we required. Breakfast was fantastic. Rooms were clean and tidy and of a decent size. We would definately stay here again.

    The photos & description did not match the room. The room we booked had a bed in the lounge in photos and in description wrote " extra bed in lounge ( 2 x beds in total ). We brought this to the attention of a few different staff members who told us we would have to pay an extra $45 per night to have a bed brought up. Although the staff are all really friendly, our concerns were effectively ignored & I feel this was dishonest from management.

    Spacious good value apartment in central HCMC6
    The 2 bedroom apartment we had was very spacious, clean and well equipped. We found it very good value for money. There were 2 toilets which were helpful during the morning rush! The location was good, in easy walking distance of all District 1 places of interest. There was a good supermarket right next door, also a Japanese restaurant that served the apartment's included tasty breakfast.
    We were on the 3rd floor so we could sometimes hear the traffic below, but it was never very loud. The apartment decor looked a bit dated, but we hardly noticed as we spent most of our time out and about.

    Will not stay or recommend Somerset Chancellor.
    Location and staff .
    The main reception lobby had no Aircon. The lobby for each floor had no aircon . Bed mattress quality not good for back. Bathrooms not modernised ACs also old and not consistent air flow . Old property needs to be modernized and upgraded to match the other Ascott properties. Not expected from An Ascott property. No Value for money . 2 bedroom apartment had 1.5 bathrooms. Description of hotel and room incorrect while booking . Doesnt give the real picture

    Good location. Reasonable price.
    We booked 3 times during our trip in Saigon and stayed in 3 difference rooms. Each apartment was big and bright with fully equiped kitchen, The rooms in 6th and 7th floor had great view. The beds were big and comfortable. Good location. Reasonable price.
    The bathroom facilities were old. The ventilation in some bathrooms did not work well. The doors looked old and they were really heavy.
