Good, but could be much better

Great location, near to bus stops and underground station, which makes it easier to travel around the city. The pod was great, but the room itself was dark and not very clean.

The hostel does offer lockers, but you need to bring your own padlock. Otherwise, they'll charge you 5 per day. And the facilities were not very organised and clean.

Really great hostel, super affordable price in an otherwise unaffordable city. Good locker sizes provided and plenty of shared facilities so youre never waiting.

Bunk beds dont have much vertical space, I was constantly craining my neck when not lying down. The door to my room on the first night was jammed but I think it might have been the other guests.

Smelly, dirty rooms & sanitary conditions. Worst service in history, discriminative staff & Manager

Absolutely nothing. Horrible staff and dirty facilities, smelly room. There should be an option for negative scores.

Smelling room. Health and Safety risk. Worst service.They allow people who haven't showered for days to book the rooms which can spread all sorts of disease outbreaks. When this was made known to staff, they did not care and rather, denied it. I have evidence and recordings of the horrible service. The so called team lead or manager - Hayden (if that's even his real name as he is full of lies and covers things up to make himself look good) is not fit to be a manager - not to talk of a service staff. He is a total disgrace along with the others on the front desk. A lawsuit is pending. They take your money before check in and refuse to refund when they are in the wrong and have no alternative clean rooms for you. They literally expect you to live with the unhealthy and dirty situation including their dirty service. If I was a student with little or no money, I would've been stranded; but fortunately, I'm not. I left once i saw how evil these people are and simply booked myself a travelodge which was just 2 quid more in price than this nonsense and i had a nice, private sleep with lovely service; even booked an extra night there. Someone booked this place for me and obviously didn't know what rubbish place they booked. The fact that people pay a bit less to sleep here doesn't give you a ticket to provide horrible service, lie and gaslight your customers. However, I'm glad I know that this place is definitely one to avoid and needs to be thoroughly investigated and exposed; which is the main objective of my lawsuit. The service staff will make enemies who can even target them personally in future due to their ill treatment, discrimination amongst other horrible things and pose a risk to innocent people around them. I hope whoever owns this place reads this because with such dirtiness in service, rooms, common areas and bathing facilities, etc, you are heading for the rocks and you will be exposed.
