Home away from home

It is a quiet neighborhood, easy free parking in front of the house, easy access by a code. Room is nice and spacious, nice comfy bed. 1 bathroom upstairs and 1 downstairs for sharing. A total of 3 rooms. It is a single family house and has that feeling home away from home to it. Luggage storage was also very convenient. Very friendly owner. Bus services at 5 min walk from the house, 41 and R4 to Canada line.

Due to it being a single family house and very open plan: you can hear the other guests when they are downstairs. Someone was making phone calls at 4 or 5 in the morning.

Best place to stay in Vancouver

Best place to stay in Vancouver. Quiet, comfortable, clean, and cozy accommodation. Lovely and kind hosts. The location is peaceful but also close to downtown with easy bus access. I've stayed there multiple times and always had a great experience.

I liked everything! No complaints at all.

A very pleasant and comfortable environment if youre looking for a domestic experience in Vancouver

The location was definitely outside a lot of the local tourist attractions but it was close to a sky train station and bus stop so they were very reachable

The location wasnt within walking distance of a lot of skytrain stations so it could get complicated if you needed to refill a bus pass or compass card

The bedroom was comfortable and the house itself was clean and spacious.

There were three rooms for guests but one was long term occupied by a young man who works and studies locally. The walls were paper thin, so every evening we had to listen to his phone calls and every morning from 8am we had to listen to him making work calls, as he worked from the room. The kitchen facilities advertised were actually the hosts own kitchen, and she made it clear that she didn't really want guests to use it except for using the microwave. Her English was very limited so communication was difficult. The third room was occupied by a couple who were cool and uncommunicative and left notes in the bathroom about cleanliness! All in all, it wasn't a relaxing stay...
