    Perfect location, amazing staff & GREAT breakfast
    We stayed for just two nights in this absolutely stunning place on a recent trip to Kandy. Just the shortest walk from the city centre but overlooking the serene lake it is the PERFECT location for visiting Kandy. The staff were all incredible, so kind and welcoming and helpful. The room itself was very comfortable, a large size and amazing views. Ask for the Sri Lankan breakfast there, it was the best Ive had, Im only sorry I didnt try their evening meal as that looked lovely.
    Only downside were a few niggling thing ms we did mention to the manager (namely a temperamental safe beeping all night!) There was also a mix up with check in which meant we had to stay a night in a sister hotel for the first night. This was disappointing as we had wanted to be there specifically for NYE.

    Clean and modern stay in the hub of Kandy
    Very friendly and attentive staff. For example, they helped us to book a kandyan dance show and also arranged a packed breakfast when we needed to check out of the hotel early. The Sri Lanka breakfast was superb and the location was great, just 5 minutes away from the city centre
    The bathroom door didn't shut properly and the safe made a few weird noises, but these are minor problems and I'm sure that the staff would have helped with these issues had we raised any concerns

    An overall good experience
    The hotel had an amazing view and a very nice location, which was close to the lake and the city center. The staff was quite nice and helpful. The room was spacious, had a great balcony. Breakfast was good.
    The bathroom happened to be on a different floor (but within the same room), which means we always had to go up and down the stairs, which was not the best. The bathroom and the shower had some problems with leaking and water supply in general, but nothing too terrible.

    Excellent place to stay!
    Superb staff, great Sri Lankan breakfast and well located. Rooms are comfortable, spacious and with great views. I highly recommend this place!
    A bit of wear and tear of the rooms.

    A piece of paradise on the lake
    We loved the location, right on the lake. The staff and manager were very friendly and helpful and our Tuk Tuk driver Manju was great. We hot a tuk tuk for two days to see the sights further outside Kandy.

    Wonderful stay at Eco Lodge
    We loved our stay at SWP Eco Lodge. The staff is very lovely and helpful. They even packed us a breakfast bag for our train ride in the morning. The room is absolutely stunning, stylish and smelled like paradise. We felt at home immediately. From the balcony you overlook Lake Kandi and you can watch the flying foxes around you. One of the best hotels we stayed in Sri Lanka.
