Very good

Excellent place for a stop over or a short break

Ideal for a stop over to the West Country. Warm and comfortable, great staff and service . Bar was warm well decorated for Christmas and the food was good. Ample parking.

In common with others there is an additional charge for a dog . Given he had his own bed, food and makes no mess, I cant see the justification.

Superb

lovely stop over stay. there is a nice walk up to the church and round the country lanes.

Breakfast was lovely. We also had dinner in the restaurant which was very good. I had the haddock and chips which was lovely and my other half had the burger which he said was also very good. The sticky toffee pudding was excellent!

Absolute find! Love it

Room was massive and well equipped. It was great to have access to fresh milk. The bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was on a pre order but was fab. I ate in the restaurant on the second night (the kitchen is closed on a Monday but there is a place for food literally up the road). The food was great value and the best treacle tart I've had since I was about 8! I sat by the fire in the bar with a glass of red and it felt like I was in the film 'the holiday'. Will definitely return

While there are normal roads leading up to the Hatch Inn my sat nav took me a totally different way which was all single track roads and was terrifying! I am a city girl though. Totally not the fault of the Hatch Inn and staff were great at advising at alternative routes.
