20 per night for our dog which is a LOT more than most other hotels + 14 per night parking all which added 68 to our bill.

Central hotel
The position of this hotel is ideal for Bournemouth Town centre and the beaches. The staff are polite and helpful. The food is good. The rooms are very warm but fans are provided. Everywhere was very clean. The toiletries in the bathroom were nice. There were lots of tea and coffee sachets with nice biscuits and bottles of water.
The comfort rooms need modernising. The shower over the bath was very poor, with little pressure and it took five minutes before any hot water came out. Lots of tea and coffee sachets but hardly any milks! I appreciate you can ask for extras but it is a nuisance. It is unusual to still have a double bed in a room, not a problem for us, but most people are used to king size now. We were aware of this when booking. The TV was very small. The drinks in the bar are rather dear.

Location of the hotel was spot on.
Staff were polite and quick to sort out any problems.
Did offer to change rooms due to the noise but unfortunately even my dad was on the 4th floor and still couldn't sleep because of it.
Decor is very dated.
Hairs in the bath tub.
Tried to cancel the booking due to family being severely ill but wouldn't let me cancel which resulted in either staying or having to lose 180.
Then I was charged twice for the same stay.
Christmas party was loud to the point it kept me and my 8 year old daughter awake till 1:30am.
I think the price is high for what it is.
Should be more options to buy snacks at the bar in the night. So from 8pm when the little one was hungry wr had to go out to get food. All she wanted was a packet of crisps.
Wouldn't stay again unfortunately.

Great location and friendly helpful staff. Lovely hotel which is well looked after - clean and well maintained- and was nicely decorated for Xmas. Good breakfast.
Car parking fee seemed expensive, but so good to have it on site so cant complain really.

The location was fab. The decor as you walk in was delightful and quintessentially British.
Breakfast was okay, full English breakfast available, but most things were a little cold. All self service including tea/coffee.
Charged 14 to park in the hotel car park, but not guaranteed a space on return if you went out.
