Very nice spa facilities. Swimming pool and sauna.

Location is not ideal, but more than acceptable if you have a rental to drive around. Maybe some coffee and tea in the room would be nice. But otherwise very nice place to stay. Would go again.

A star too many

Breakfast was good, beds were ok. Some employees were nice and competent (cleaners, barmen).

The waiter at breakfast seemed to be systematically segregating people based on perceived nationality/status?, which I observed over 4 days. By the fourth day we were joking about "the german breakfast room", which was more luminous. The other room, where I was sat, had the floor boards lifting from the ground. Ambient temperature at the pool was intolerably cold (in the winter) and no robes or slippers were provided and you have to walk across the bar or the lobby to reach the spa, the sauna didn't work because the temperature sensor was right above the stove and was cycling endlessly without heating. Our stay was cheap, at little over 80 /night. For that price it was fair value, but the hotel has a star too many.

Modern, clean and large rooms. Great view, beds were comfortable. Did not use restaurant (only for breakfast) but first day staff was accommodating with bar bites before opening of restaurant. Good selection for breakfast. Great bar upstairs/rooftop and must say the bartender makes excellent drinks and he was super busy - could have used help for sure, but he more than managed - so kudos to him! We did not get to use the other facilities (pool/gym etc...) - disappointed did not have time, so will be back to the hotel for sure as they looked perfect for after a long day out exploring? And thank you for helping us retrieve some of our important belongings that we left in the safe - we called and they had waiting for us at front desk to collect :)

Location just a little further out to centre, but we had family pick us up, so never really explored walking distance to be fair. Is convenient to highway though, so if driving will probably not be an issue.

Super simple to park on the street 10mn walk to the center and easy access to highway Continental breakfast is ok, sparkling wine was enjoyable Twin queen beds in the room with AC

The breakfast area felt more like a very busy/noisy canteen than a restaurant Nice pool half inside half outside but maybe a little undersized for the size of the hotel

Everything was clean. Also breakfasts were rich. Nice indoor/outdoor pool. We had rented car and there were enough places behind the hotel. Close to the city center.

Room was quiet small for 4 people (2 bigger beds).

Hotel rooms were clean and spacious , ponta Delgada is a nice central area to explore the island

Limited vegetarian breakfast options- the non -vegetarian food was right next to vegetarian food and people mixed the utensils for meat with the vegetarian food which meant I couldnt eat some of the food - it would have been better to have it seperated
