Great resort close to SFO with good ferry connection.

Hotel is close to ferry to San Francisco (main reason why I booked it). Does have a restaurant on location and has big rooms. Would be good to stay even longer. Atmosphere was relaxed and decor was maritime - which I liked a lot. Good dinner at restaurant with speedy service.

Did not have room service during my 2 nights stay - no idea why this was the case.

The lobby and tavern was a nice atmosphere. The breakfast which we had to go and get our own room service the next morning did taste nice. But my new husband had to go and get it himself.

Well, we were newlyweds that night. We put that in the booking notes. We booked a premier king room with a balcony. But instead of giving us a nice 'private' room which they could have easily done, they gave us the one that was on the main thoroughfare of EVERYONE walking to and from reception. Everyone could gaze (and did gaze) into our room as they were walking to their room....For newlyweds??!!!! When we checked in, it felt like the person on duty was drunk or high. Was very disorganised. Secondly, even though I brought the whole wedding after party to the hotel bar (which I also had pre-arranged and put in the booking), there was NOT ONE SINGLE well wish or surprise or ANYTHING for us at the hotel...we felt totally offended. This was OUR WEDDING NIGHT. We only stayed there becuase our reception was in Tiburon and we didn't want to drive. We thought waking up in Tiburon having brunch the next day would be nice. It just would have been nice to have been made to feel just a TINY LITTLE bit special on our wedding evening. The hotel LOOKED nice in the lobby...the 'Tavern' part, which I know was separate but still the hotel rooms were a dump, and not private. Afterwards, their computer system autogenerated a survey. I filled it out. Supposedly it went directly to management. I heard nothing from them about this mishap either. I.e. Management do not care. This is what happens when PRIVATE EQUITY run something like a hotel. Ironically, a week after our stay (Nov 13), I received a 'message' from the hotel via Booking.com welcoming us for our upcoming stay. What a SH$T SHOW This hotel is.

Mostly good.

Location was wonderful. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very happy with the happy hour wine.

We stayed in a wheelchair accessible room. There was no access to a mirror for me in the bathroom and shelf was too high. It would help if the property would install a couple of lower shelves and install a mirror on a hinge at a lower level so one could pull it toward one's face for make up or shaving or hair styling. Make sense?
