Nice hotel, nice bar to have a drink in with tellys to watch the sports if anything is on whilst you're staying.

Great new Alexander hotel

lovely friendly hotel just like one big family it's our second visit and we shall be booking again for Christmas/ new year, food fantastic , dogs are welcome , location great

lots of stairs but only because my partner and I have arthritis, no lift , no car park

Bad

Nothing. Paid my bill via booking .com arrived at the place. Nobody on reception after climbing a mountain of stairs for what I paid the place was terrible. We walked out in disgust. So we never stayed. I would like a refund !

Everything. The place was grotty. I want a refund as we walked in then walked out. Terrible

2nd visit in 5 weeks, staff are all very friendly, room was spotless as usual, the best location I personally think they have two bars, one on the ground floor which does very good food, and one up on the first floor that does karaoke etc, I'll be back soon
