    Excellent breakfast with a variety of food on offer, very reasonably priced. Excellent service with the owner always checking if we needed something.
    It was a very comfortable room, but could have been slightly bigger.

    A beautiful and quiet retreat
    The house, grounds and bedroom were superb, and breakfast was delicious. Helga was helpful, professional and friendly as well. All in all, it was a great stay.
    We didn't have a car and (not the fault of the hotel) taxis were scarce on this bank holiday weekend, so getting to and from Deal was a bit complicated. It would have been lovely if there had been a bar to have a nightcap before bed - perhaps an honour-based system where we could help ourselves so the hosts didn't have to stay up. Or if the mini bar had a few beers and a bottle of wine. As it was, once back at the hotel late evening, the only thing left was to go to bed.

    Just what was needed, close to the coast and wedding venue and quiet to recover the day after
    Helga was amazing. We were in the area for a wedding and she called and booked our cabs for both journeys, which on a day of train strikes was awesome. Great breakfast and lovely setting.
    Nothing to dislike, if you wanted an evening drink then the locals were a bit of a trek, but we managed around that and enjoyed a small glass of wine in the garden area

    The host was lovely and very attentive without being in your face. Everything was beautifully clean and the bed was excellent to sleep in

    Comfortable stay in luscious verdant setting with a supreme host , led to a relaxing break.
    Full breakfast, fresh fruit, bed v comfortable...info from host. Lots of local info and supreme hospitality. refreshing room each day.. cold bottled water. locally sourced food. bacon was delicious! walled garden...so relaxi glingeing at breakfast to read. Lovely relaxing vibe.
    difficult to fault it. Really served our needs well. Helga, host, was delightful. We woud, recommend to others

    Lack of anywhere to sit down confortably to read or play games Too much clutter in the bedroom reduced the space available for unpacking our own things
