Charming, relaxed and pampered.

I loved the art deco style and relaxed vibe. A good breakfast. The spa treatments were excellent.

Not terrible, just not 5 stars

The location was great and the staff were very friendly. The cleaning staff were attentive and careful.

The hotel room felt very, very old. There were mosquitoes in the room, and all the furniture were clearly very used. The toilet was clean but the sewage smell was obvious. Honestly, for the price and the pictures, it didn't feel like a good deal. The staff at the massage didn't have the best english and we had a miscomm.

OK but dissapointing. Clearly not a 5-star hotel any more. I only come for the decor now.

A single large bed was provided after some uncertainty prior to check in, even though I selected this option when booking

bathroom was old with marble tiles broken and dirty. Breakfast was passable but not like previous times. Margarine used instead of butter. processed cheese used instead of real cheese. For national guests this is likely fine, but not for international guests. Food was much better quality up to a few years ago (I have visited the hotel for almost 30 years).
