Home in Krabi

Everything was exceptional! The Pin Boutique family were lovely Poom, Jan, Paw the gentleman who drove the shuttle everyday on our stay at the Pin and everyone else I didn't mention by name. This place has so much warmth, hospitality and character. They pay attention to the smallest details with care When in Krabi will definitely come to stay in The Pin.

Great hotel especially for couples

The property is amazing from the moment you walk in. Youre welcomed with welcome drinks and taken to the room, the room comes with a Netflix profile, drop off service to the beach/market and a lovely private pool! These facilities were amazing for us as a Muslim couple as I could enjoy a private swim, the overall experience was exceptional! The staff were helpful and friendly, the hotel truly think of all your needs and wants, and seem keen to continue to improve. Although it wasnt our honeymoon I would recommend anyone who wants to go to Krabi on honeymoon or some nice couple time away, to stay at the Pin!

I would have really loved some more variety on the breakfast menu, the menu options were given to choose the previous day, but after a few days, it got really boring, as the options were limited. But they did also provide unlimited coffee/tea from the machine throughout the day, which was nice and there was toast, yoghurts, cereal etc to also choose from. The location of the hotel was also slightly out of the way and grabs are difficult to get some evenings, but the drop off service was really useful for going out before 5.

Disappointing

From the villa perspective, yes it was good but from the service perspective, it was PATHETIC

The amenities like private pool, bathtub, beautifully designed villas and interiors and ofcourse the breakfast.

The resort is critically understaffed on Christmas and New Year weeks which is shocking. Not a single staff or service is available post 4 PM in the resort. Services begin from 8 AM in the morning and nobody will be available before that. No doctor on call, no emergency service readiness, no security. Its kind of an open resort where anyone can enter at any time of the day and knock on your door or maybe jump the fence into your villa. I reached the resort at 8 PM and was surprised to see not a single staff available to receive us or help us check in. There was a number hanging on the door and I had to call the lady myself to get instructions on which is my villa and how do i get in. The driver was kind enough to assist us throughout this pain. Completely irresponsible behaviour from the staff despite the fact that they were informed about my arrival time months in advance. Ao Nang beach is 4.5 to 5 km far. They say that they have a free shuttle but that too is not available 80% of the time because the staff who drives the shuttle is also the same person who does housekeeping for the entire resort. So basically he is multi-tasking. They say grab is easy to find but trust me it is not. It was very difficult for us to commute anywhere in Krabi from this remotely located resort.
