    Awful.. we were booked in for two nights but booked out after one
    The plume of feathers pub was nice but we were put in rooms that arent in the pub and this was not made clear when we booked
    Not attached to the pub very tired looking and not particularly clean. 2 single beds zipped together so bedding was too small . Pillows were rock hard and bed was very uncomfortable

    Loved the character food staff all amazing, bathroom a little dirty and opposite the Abbey was beautiful but no sleep as bells chime every 15 mins....!

    The pub is very well run and the food sensational - room comfy (the bathroom was only let down!)
    Excellent breakfast, unbeatable location.
    Bathroom rather disappointing - although room was spacious, comfy and warm the bathroom (alias "wet-room") was down a flight of stairs, rather cramped and very cold (it was a particularly frosty night when we stayed)

    Great service, beautiful room, perfect breakfast and felt really looked after like nothing was too much trouble.
    One quibble was the door from the road had a really stiff lock to get in.

    Great management, great staff and great food
    Fantastic location and very good food in the evening and for breakfast. Good ambience in the bar and restaurant. It is so nice to stay in a hotel that is not part of a chain. The owners were on hand and really cared about giving a friendly and memorable experience. Top marks for this Bedroom was a bit disappointing. Somewhat drab and needed a bit of TLC but the overall stay was great
