About This Property

The Slipway B&B is a Grade II listed building that dates back to 1527 and is located opposite Port Isaac harbour. It features adults-only B&B accommodation with Restaurant & Bar on the ground floor with an outdoor terrace. All of the bedrooms have small en-suite bathrooms and some have panoramic sea views of Port Isaac harbour. Two rooms feature village views. The loft suite features a king-size bed and a small living area and a bathroom with a bath. The Restaurant specialises in local seafood has also a selection of non-seafood, vegetarian options are available and variety of drinks. It also serves Cornish cream teas and a range of scones, cakes and sandwiches made to order. Please check opening times as these may vary and some days Restaurant & Bar may be closed in season. The Restaurant and Bar will be shut between November and March. Please note there are no parking facilities by the B&B, you are welcome to drop off your luggage if you arrive earlier. The walk from and to the car park might take anything between 5-20minutes depending on physical stamina and might be difficult for older and disabled persons. In summer check-in time is between 4pm and 6pm, in winter between 2pm and 4pm. Breakfast is included in the price and provided between 8.30am and 9.30am. Check-out 10am. During winter only Continental breakfast will be served to the guests in the morning. Only during high season April till October full buffet and cooked breakfast will be available. The closest train station is Bodmin Parkway. You will require to pre-book a taxi to get to Port Isaac. Places of interest include Tintagel Castle is 10.2 miles away, Boscastle is 12.6 miles and Newquay Cornwall Airport is 21 miles away.

Fabulous

Great location in an iconic setting. Breakfast was great and staff very helpful. Room was very small but the view from our window was amazing.

Not a problem for us we loved it but future guest need to know the room, bed and bathroom are very small.

Port Isaac was an idyllic seaside village that deserved a stay of several days.

Port Isaac was unbelievably beautiful and great to explore its narrow laneways and tiny houses. The pub was a standout, not only for the usual beers and meals but also for coffee. The Slipway was ideally located with staff who were always friendly and helpful,

Staying there in October meant fewer tourists but also meant a few less shops and cafes were open. Nevertheless, it was a good tradeoff. The need for a taxi from the station was expensive but, hey, what can you do?

Very good

The bed was very cpmfortable and water etc hot. Food was good and staff helpful and friendly.

The bathroom very small especially the shower. A big person would have serious difficulty in manoeuvring around in it. the hairdryer activated the alarm while my wife was drying her hair.
