    We had a very enjoyable stay at The Station Hotel, and wouldnt hesitate to go back.
    The room was lovely and spacious, modern and clean. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant in the evening. The hotel didnt provide breakfast, but there is a garden centre nearby where you can get a great breakfast if you want.
    There wasnt anything I didnt like about the property.

    Good service in the restaurant the room was clean and warm and secure at night as gates to the car park was locked. Food very good value in the restaurant
    No soap in the bathroom the bottle was empty. Did not cater for breakfasts in the restaurant you had to go elsewhere

    Very nice room, fire exit sign needs relocating and the door handle needs sorting.
    Easy to find and close to the venue I was attending. Room as very nice, well decorated and modern with a lovely bathroom. Controllable heating and comfy beds.
    The green fire exit sign is inside the room above the door and cant be turned off making the room very light all night. Didnt bother me too much but if you need darkness this is it the room for you (room 6). Also the outside door handle came off in my hand as I left! Also it was very dark by the room door - there is a light but its not bright enough. Moving the fire exit sign outside the room would sort that out no problem!

    The Booking.com description did not meet reality, the rooms were below a Travelodge standard with multiple faults, we had a flood from the inadequate shower installation which in turn set off the fire alarm due to water ingress to the electrics. For a deluxe room the double bed (pushed against the wall) required a new mattress very uncomfortable, there was. No sofa, no hand towels, no soundproofing (which was in the description) no robes again in the description. However when the manageress arrived she immediately offered a full refund of the accommodation charge. This establishment has potential to be good but the very poor standard of fit out in the rooms will always disappoint !

    We stayed in the twin rooms, very clean, very n comfortable no problems. We would sleep again t
    stayed here at the station so we could go to the horse racing. The restaurant inside was very nice. It was Halloween night. The food presentation was very nicely presented I did have the gammon but was very salty but they were very good and substitute it for sausages. the staff were very helpful and very polite.
    Theres nothing that I didnt like about the property looked very nice on the outside and ample parking
