    Best pub Sunday roast I have ever eaten
    The food was exceptional throughout our stay. We went to the New Years Eve dinner and it was very good. Roast lunch in the pub on New Years Day was fantastic, the best I have ever been served in a pub The room was very comfortable

    Was upgraded, which was really nice. Stayed in cottage 14. The beds are really comfortable. The food is excellent, both evening meal and breakfast Underfloor heating in the bathroom, too. Loved the bottle water in the room. We have stayed before and will again.
    Attention to accessories being dusted and bathroom towel rail dusty. No outside light working quite dangerous at night, as a slight step outside doorway. No toiletries for bath... have shower and basin but not for bath, these are attached to wall so can't move. Bar area is designed for table seating, really, not a lot of space to sit and chill after your meal. Only recommendations.... we do love it here.

    My restaurant meal, sent it back, undercooked items, overcooked items, for 23 totally unacceptable. After complaining they removed the cost from the bill. I was amazed that it was served up and left the kitchen.

    my table was right next to the gents. i would suggest rearranging the tables so no one has to sit so close to the WC

    Beautiful, comfy, beautiful food. The toiletries were very nice.
    We came to try and get some peace and quiet but the music downstairs was very loud until very late unfortunately.
