The rooms were clean and well-presented, and th (Read More)e staff were friendly. The grounds were beautiful. Some guests appreciated the dog-friendly policy. Others noted the warm welcome from all staff, the quality of the rooms and meals, and the only downside being the temperature of the coffee. Overall, highly recommended.

    The inn is beautiful the people are amazing and welcoming dog friendly always a bonus but so clean
    Sadly boiler tripped on 2nd night and no hot water due to weather I assume not the hotels fault

    Great room, superb shower. Very dog friendly. Excellent staff. Fabulous breakfast with lots of variety.

    The room was fairly spacious and a good sized, comfortable, bed. TV was good quality and had Netflix etc . Private patio was very nice addition. Bathroom was clean with a walk in shower, good quality towels and bathrobes. Country side location with minimal road noise
    The extra cost Room service was a very poor experience. Evening main meal arrived only lukewarm. Was expecting a table or trolley to eat from as none in room but ended up eating sat on bed. Two minutes after main arrived the hot desserts appeared so were stone cold by the time we'd finished. No one came for the empty plates so had to be left piled up on dresser next to a radiator overnight. Still there when we checked out next morning. This put us off breakfast so we left hungry. No main lightswitch near bed so had to run across cold wood floor to turn them off. The complimentary slippers were tiny

    Stayed before its very handy for us but the big draw is firstly the excellent staff and secondly the fantastic food
    Appreciate property allows dogs but I dont really like them being in restaurant when Im eating

    Everything! The staff here are absolutely fantastic, the gentleman who was serving breakfast especially was just lovely. Even our dog was brought his own little breakfast. Can't say enough about this place. The room was immaculate and so comfortable, we didn't want to leave. We will definitely be back!
