Pretty much everything was spot on at this property. It was much more spacious than I expected and also very warm a cosy in the late January storms of Malik and Corrie. The underfloor heating is fantastic. The entrance room contains a washing machine & tumble drier so I could pack less and wash half-way through the week. It was also a perfect area for discarding wet boots and coats and also contained a cupboard with some board games. The living room was light and airy with a great view out of the floor to ceiling picture windows. It had space for four people to be seated comfortably. The TV was an old Sky system but without a viewing card so only the free sat channels were available. The adjoining kitchen/diner was well apointed and had everything you needed, although there wasn't a small welcome pack for anyone arriving without having shopped first. This wasn't a problem for me but be aware. Bedroom 1 had a large double bed and bedroom 2 had two single beds and an ensuite shower room with the best shower I have used in a long time. Powerful and hot. The main bathroom had a large bath and toilet. Outside there was a small seating area with a bench/table and a space for parking a car. There was also more parking space outside the gate on the property which is located almost exactly halfway between Portree and Broadford, both of which have large Co-op supermarkets and other facilities and are about 20 minutes away by car. There are a few restaurants close by; Sconser Lodge Hotel is a few hundred yards and Sligachan Hotel about 3 miles, although neither was open at the time of year I visited, but I knew this before I left. There are plenty of places to eat in the two nearby towns. Sonser is well located for getting pretty much anywhere on the island in a reasonable time, for example, it was an hours drive to Staffin, 35 mins to Dunvegan, 30 minutes to the Skye Bridge and 50 minutes to Elgol.
