On the edge of Rowen, one of the Conwy Valley's most delightful villages, the Tir (Read More) y Coed is within the boundaries of the Snowdonia National Park. The far-reaching views from Rowen extend to the magnificent mountains beyond. The medieval walled town of Conwy is just 4 miles away, as is the coast. The house has many large windows, filling it with a warm, bright and welcoming light. All of the bedrooms are beautifully appointed and individually designed, with luxurious fabrics and attention to detail ensuring that each room becomes the perfect retreat. All rooms have a TV, refreshment tray, clock radio and an immaculate en suite bathroom or shower room.

    Lovely quiet location and a very comforable stay
    We had a very warm welcome from Sandra. Breakfast was great and the room very clean and comfortable. Ample and easy parking. Very well located for the Conwy valley including Bodnant garden.
    Only regret was that we unable to stay longer!

    There was nothing to not like. Sandra the host was excellent and went over and above to accommodate. The venue/food and location were all superb. We have very happy memories that will last a long while.

    We would recommend this place to friends and would stay here again on another trip to North Wales.
    This was a great location for our two nights in Conwy. Our room was very comfortable; the bathroom had high-end conveniences that we weren't expecting. The gardens were absolutely beautiful; we wish we'd planned for some time to sit on the veranda and enjoy the birds and flowers. We had a flat tire on our rental car while we were in Anglesey an hour away. Sandra was so helpful in advising us while we rearranged our plans so we could pick up another rental. She even called a taxi for us to get to the train station. The breakfasts were delicious, perfectly cooked with generous portions -- a great way to start a full day of adventures.

    Exceptional, the bed was extremely comfortable as were the pillows, the shower was super powerful, and the breakfast divine! Sandra was extremely helpful, this really is a gem!

    Made very welcome, very clean, food was exceptional. The decor was very tasteful. The bed was very comfortable. Everything you need for a break away. The garden was full of plants and wildlife. Nice walks and places to eat.

    Delightful quiet retreat in an excellent location to visit North Wales
    Quiet location, beautiful garden. Gorgeous rooms Helpful but unobtrusive hosts who provided excellent suggestions for day trips, restaurants and local advice . Delicious breakfast
    Unfortunately it was quite hot and the beds were designed for warmth and softness, so very cosy at night!

    Sumptuous quiet base with caring hosts and great to explore all that Eryri National Park offers.
    The location was peaceful and very charming. We could sit on the balcony with a glass of wine and watch the bird feeders and the beautiful garden. The room was excellently presented, comfy and with some nice touches like scrumptious flapjack pieces. The breakfast was wonderful. Nice short walk to the Ty Gwyn pub was an excellent meal, warm welcome and great characters serving us. This is a great central location to visit some great North Wales tourist attractions and return to a haven of quiet.

    A great away-from-it-all break, with plenty of interesting places to visit
    Our hosts were enthusiastic, professional and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble; they made reservations for us at their recommended restaurants, all of which were as described and well worth the visit.
    The weather. But it was Snowdonia, after all...

    Best accommodation I've stayed in.
    Excellent place, I and my wife loved it. Beautiful garden, very clean facility, very comfy bed and cosy rooms. Home made breakfast is exceptionally tasty, with stunning vegetarian option. Friendly and helpful owners. Very professional and friendly atmosphere. Best place we've stayed at and will definitely come again when a chance comes.
