The only aspect we were not happy with, and this really is the only thing, was the location presented itself as being able to cater for gluten free. Whilst this was the case for the lunch we had during the spa retreat, this was not the case for breakfast - and we stayed for three nights! I did stipulate in our booking that my partner was gluten free, so I was disappointed that the only option she had for breakfast was granola and fruit juice and she could not enjoy the pastries as I could. For future reference, I would recommend widening the options to ensure this aspect is fully catered for. As I mentioned above, we have stayed at other Ayurvedic locations who were able to fully accommodate this requirement with ease, so there should be no reason why this location could not do that same. If the pastries are bought in, then surely gluten free options could also be ordered? If the produce is prepared in house, then again, seen as gluten free was catered for in the lunches, this should be an easy option for breakfast as well. Considering what we paid to stay, the treatments, and that a specific request was made at booking - based on the locations description - we were disappointed that this was not catered for more broadly. But this was the only aspect we were not completely happy with.
