    Absolutely loved my stay. The staff were super helpful and the room was in top shape. 10/10 recommended if youre looking for a cozy stay in the middle of Dartmoor!

    A very comfortable and welcoming traditional hotel.
    Nice staff. Good ambience. Good food despite limited dinner menu on the days we were there.

    After a two night stay with friends it was only let down by the poor breakfast on Sunday.
    The nice open log fire, comfortable clean room and bedding.
    Poor breakfast on Sunday, waiting 45 mins for cold scrambled egg on burnt toast. My wife ordered eggs benadict, with too much thick cut ham on burnt toast and not very hot . disappointed.

    Food was very good, as always, & you never disappoint. You cater for dogs by going the extra mile in pampering them. Very enjpyable stay as usual.
