Poor

I wouldnt stay there again.

Its in a good location right in the centre of the high street.

On arrival the staff just left us standing there for around 5 mins until we asked for help. We were in an annex building built above a store area which smells of damp and isnt very private. You can hear everything from the adjoining room and the exit door is extremely loud which is shared between two rooms. The room also overlooks the pub garden so you have to draw your curtains but the lightening is very poor so not ideal. The shower room doesnt have an adequate extractor fan so the tiles were dripping with water throughout our stay after having a shower. The coffee maker also leaked all over the table and made my handbag soaking wet over night - we hadnt even used it!

Relaxed, comfortable place to stay in the heart of Salcombe.

Comfortable room, friendly staff and great evening meal in a central location in the heart of Salcombe.

The bathroom a bit cramped but the shower was excellent.

Really comfy beds with great location

Beds and pillows very comfortable, we slept very well great location, friendly staff. Nice coffee in room and provision of water. Perfect place to stay in Salcombe and have meal in evening there. Relaxed atmosphere

It was all good If had to mention anything, sink in bathroom a little awkward to use without splashing and be better if shelf not above but this def didn't affect our stay. We would stay here again

Disappointing

Disappointing.

The pub was centrally located in the town. The decor in the pub was pleasant enough.

Breakfast wasn't available or included in the price. The only overnight parking accessible was 15 minutes walk away with luggage. We arrived for dinner early as it was raining. Despite there being plenty of tables not being used, we were told that we couldn't eat early unless we sat outside. The windows to our room were surrounded by all of the pub's bins which we had to tolerate the smell of all night because it was too hot to sleep with the windows closed. The room was clean, but plain, and simply not worth the price.
