Acacias 22 - Luz

Large spacious villa with great views.

The pool service was a little lacking. Having owned a pool I know that in hour sunny weather you need to be on top of pool chemistry. All was good fire about 5 days but once the sun beat down the pool went cloudy, from there on we never had a clear pool again. Firstly due to pH raising chemical balance (the we were not informed of), then to the backwash tap being left open, draining 20% of the pool water, only to be filled again with tap water the following day and no new chlorine added. Result was for close to 50% of our stay the pool was less than inviting. Also, while not claimed to be any different in the advertising, one set of bath towels and sheets for 10 days is not really adequate, in top of this there were no toilet cleaning chemicals available either. Finally one of the patio doors would not lock at all, fortunately this was upstairs on the balcony, but nonetheless, not good.

Superb

Spacious and comfy villa in quiet but well located area

Beautiful villa with private pool (unheated so VERY refreshin). Villa located. 10mins walk from centre of Luz so easy walk in. Beautiful sea views from large balcony. Really quiet location. Plenty of space (especially outdoor) Felt right at home. So much so, we have booked again for next year.

Beds were really hard but got used to them. Few areas of the villa were a little jaded and needed some tlc and some improvements, but only small elements which should be easily rectified after the list I sent to the really accommodating host.

Pool, 2 good size bedrooms and comfortable.

The kitchen needed more cooking dishes and metal cooking trays. It could have been better stocked.

Great location , tired property that needs updating

My concerns over security as not all the sliding doors or shutters locked and closed properly. For example the top floor shutter hinges we eroded and would never close , the property is tired and needs updating including the barhrooms
