    Epic view from Villa and fantastic experience.
    Beautiful comfortable and relaxing place to stay. The staff was very friendly and helped us carry all our gear to the rooms. Ill be recommending Alba dOro to friends who wish to visit Amalfi.
    I have zero complaints about the property.

    Amazing location and views with a comfortable room with plentiful breakfast, to top it off the hosts are very helpful.
    The setting for the villa was utterly stunning, from the terrace youre able to see up in the mountain, down along the amalfi coast and straight out over the water. Such an idyllic place to spend your time in amalfi. This is where youll be served breakfast every morning, which was the best we had during our stay in Italy. A continental breakfast which also included made to order eggs and delicious coffee - plenty of food to set you up for the day. The room was really nicely decorated in a very traditional style. There was a very comfy bed, lovely big and airy bathroom with a good shower (great water pressure). The vibe is traditional but luxurious - not for you if you like ultra modern interiors. We didnt use the pool as we were so taken with the local beach and we only stayed a few days but it was always clean and looked very welcoming, with a view out over the coast Im sure we wouldve enjoyed it if wed stayed a little longer. The location was quiet and peaceful with a few restaurants just down the steps from the villa (the meal we had at the sister restaurant was delicious. You can easily access the historic centre of Amalfi on a short bus ride or a leisurely 45 minute walk along the coast. The hosts were fantastic, they could not do enough for us and answered all of our questions quickly. They even helped us out of a tricky situation when our taxi didnt arrive to take us to the airport. Cannot praise them highly enough.

    The only thing I would be cautious about is the steps to the villa - theyre absolutely not a problem but if you have any mobility issues might be a bit tricky. Theres a lift for luggage so thats not a problem and you cant get the views without the stairs so well worth it in my opinion.

    Great place for a getaway. Amazing view, close by everything and very friendly staff always willing to help.

    The villa is amazing. The view is outstanding and the rooms are very unique. The pool is wonderfull, and overall a very good experience.
    We got 3 rooms, 1 had like a basement window. Recommend to take the sea view rooms. The sofa bads were very simple and noisy, for the price I would expect more comfortable and new bads. There are 120 steps to the villa, need to take into consideration if you are a senior.

    Absolutely wonderful place to stay and amazing help by Martina from the hotel. Very communicative and helpful with all my additional requests for a special occasion. We had the top room, the balcony is enormous with three seating areas and lounge beds. The views are wonderful. Everything is clean and well taken care off. The swimming pool is fantastic and also has great views. The garden is also a delight and well-kept. It was a magical experience and would 200% recommend. I cannot thank the staff enough! Following Martina's advice we went to the restaurant Da Ciccio next door, also a fantastic experience

    Wonderful room with an amazing view!! Staff very helpful and kind. Alessio and Martina are incredible. The pool was super nice. I totally recommend the place.
    It was a bit trick to go to Amalfi by bus.
